DG Delivered with Uber Eats

Dollar General has partnered with Uber Eats to offer Dollar General items on Uber Eats Marketplace, allowing you to shop your favorites and have them delivered quickly. Fees do apply—please see below as well as Uber Eats’ help pages for more information.

You can pre-select replacements for any items, in case shoppers can’t find them or if the store is out of stock. Further, the courier may reach out to you via in-app chat or call to discuss substitutions.

Uber Eats will refund you the difference at the end of the delivery.

Only for approved substitutions when the original items are out of stock. Otherwise, you may only receive items that are initially ordered together on Uber Eats.  Additional items can be added to the order until the courier has completed shopping. 

Fees may vary, but any associated with your order (including delivery, platform, and other regulatory fees) will always be disclosed at checkout, so you’ll know what the total is for your order before paying. You’ll also receive a receipt from Uber Eats showing a breakdown of the order subtotal, applicable taxes, fees, and gratuity.

No. Coupons from Dollar General may not be redeemed on Uber Eats.

No. Purchases on Uber Eats will not show on your Dollar General order history, but will be viewable within Uber Eats, when logged in to the Uber Eats account associated with your order.

Not yet, but soon, Uber Eats will accept SNAP/EBT as a form of payment for purchases from Dollar General.

No. Uber Eats does not permit any tax-exemption solution at this time.

Open Uber Eats on your phone (or visit the Uber Eats website) and find the Help button under the main menu, or visit your Past Orders, find your order, and tap “Get Help”. While the delivery is ongoing, you can contact your courier to communicate any notes on your order, as well as Uber Eats support via chat for any other requests. After your order is complete, you can contact Uber Eats support via chat with any questions or concerns, including any requests for returns, refunds for damaged merchandise, or other problems with your order. Dollar General cannot accept an Uber Eats receipt for any refunds or credits or provide support for Uber Eats order questions or issues.
