Questions About myDG Delivery
How do I place my first myDG Delivery order?
You need a free myDG account to use myDG Delivery. If you already shop with myDG, you can start ordering for delivery right away without setting up anything else.
Step 1 — Sign In
Sign in to the Dollar General app or DollarGeneral.com with your myDG account. If you already have an account, you're all set.
Step 2 — Select Delivery
Choose Delivery and enter your address to confirm that a participating store delivers to your
Step 3 — Shop Your Essentials
Browse and shop everyday essentials available from your local participating store.
Step 4 — Choose Your Delivery Time
At checkout, select ASAP Delivery for delivery in under an hour (additional $1 ASAP fee), or Later Delivery to schedule a delivery window that works for you.
Step 5 — Place Your Order and Track It
Submit your order and track its progress directly in the app or online.
How fast does myDG Delivery arrive?
Choose ASAP Delivery and your order can arrive within one hour of ordering for a $1 ASAP fee. You can also choose Later to schedule a delivery window for the same day or the next day.
Where is myDG Delivery available?
myDG Delivery is available from participating Dollar General stores. Enter your address on the delivery page to see whether your home is within a delivery area.
Do I need an account?
Yes. A free myDG account is required to place an order. You can order through the Dollar General app or at DollarGeneral.com.
What does delivery cost?
The $1 ASAP fee applies to ASAP orders. Delivery fees are not adjusted if your order changes due to out-of-stock items, substitutions, refunds, or returns.
What happens after I place an order?
A shopper is assigned to your order and delivery time. You will receive text messages and/or emails with updates as your order is shopped and delivered.
Can I cancel a myDG Delivery order?
Yes, but only until a shopper has been assigned. Use the “Cancel Order” button on your Order Details page. Once a shopper has been assigned, orders cannot be changed or canceled.
What if an item is out of stock?
Items are automatically set to “Allow Substitutions.” If you do not want substitutions, uncheck this option for any item before placing your order. Substituted items are charged at their own retail price and may not qualify for the original item's discounts or offers.
What if something is wrong with my order?
Tap “Need Help With Your Order?” on your Order Details page to request a self-service refund, or contact Customer Care. The full return policy is available in the Help Center.
