Relieve and prevent heartburn due to acid indigestion and sour stomach all day or night with Pepcid AC Maximum Strength Heartburn Relief Tablets with an Icy Cool Mint flavored coating. Designed for adults and children ages 12 and up, the heartburn medicine controls acid all day or night, based on nine-hour acid control studies during the day and 12-hour acid control studies during the night. Each mint-flavored, acid-neutralizing tablet contains 20 milligrams of famotidine, a known stomach acid reducer and controller for maximum strength aid in the relief and prevention of acid indigestion. Ideal for use at home or at work whenever and wherever heartburn strikes, the heartburn medicine can be taken as early as 60 minutes prior to eating, or in as little as 10 minutes before consuming food and beverages that contribute to heartburn. Adults and children 12 and older should swallow one tablet with a glass of water; do not chew. Do not take more than two tablets in 24 hours.
