Create a charming painted mason jar featuring delicate pink and orange flowers. This spring craft brings a touch of nature indoors, making it a perfect centerpiece or decorative accent for the season.

Step 1:

 

A)   Paint the mason jar using the white chalk paint. Tip: Coverage can be as heavy or as light as you’d like. Let dry.

 

Step 2:

 

A)   Dip the 1/2" dauber brushes in pink and orange paint.

B)   Randomly place pink and orange dots around the jar.

C)   Let the jar dry.

 

Step 3:

 

A)   Use a small paint brush to make five flower petals on each dot. Press the brush down so that the bristles spread out and make the wide-to-narrow shape.

B)   Make pink flower petals on the orange dots, and orange flower petals on the pink dots.

C)   Let the jar dry.

 

Step 4:

 
A)   Add a yellow dot to the center of each flower using the back end of a paint brush. Let dry.

 

Step 5:

 
A)   Add leaves using a small paint brush and green paint. Let dry.

 

Step 6:

 
A) Use sandpaper to distress the neck of the jar, if desired.
