Let's Do This!
Step 1:
Print and cut out the template.
Trace the template onto the corrugated cardboard. Cut out the wreath ring.
Step 2:
Wrap a 2 ½ in. x 5 ft. length of Burlap Ribbon around the cardboard wreath ring, covering the entire ring.
Secure with hot glue.
Step 3:
Cut 9 lengths from each spool (Macrame cord, Jute, White Yarn and Black Yarn) into 192 in. per piece.
Step 4:
To start a ball, hot glue the end of one of the pieces of Macrame cord to the 1.5 in. foam ball.
Wrap Macrame in multiple directions to cover the ball completely. Secure end with a dab of hot glue. Repeat until you have a total of 9 Macrame balls. Note: You will continue steps 4A and 4B for the jute and yarn.
Wrap Jute in multiple directions to cover the ball completely. You will need 9 Jute balls.
Wrap Black Yarn in multiple directions to cover the ball completely. You will need 9 Black Yarn balls. Wrap White Yarn in multiple directions to cover the ball completely. You will need 9 White Yarn balls
Step 5:
Hot glue the balls to the wreath ring making sure to separate the colors and textures.
Cover the burlap-covered wreath ring completely with the assorted balls.
Once the ring is covered, begin layering balls on top by hot gluing them and filling in any gaps. Optional: Add mini Christmas balls for added texture and color.
Step 6:
Loop a ribbon around the wreath and tie in a bow to hang, if desired.
