Craft Pin Coaster

Create these custom coasters to match your décor. Fun spring colors will brighten your gathering and surprise your guests. 

Supplies

What You'll Need:

  • Crafter’s Closet Medium Craft Pins
  • Crafter’s Closet 16 pc Acrylic Paints
  • Crafter’s Closet Hot Glue Gun
  • Crafter’s Closet Hot Glue Sticks
  • Crafter’s Closet Premium Paint Brush
  • Crafter’s Closet Palette
  • ½" Wide Marker
  • Scrap Piece of Foam Board
  • Sandpaper

Let's Do This!

Step 1

 

Step 1:

  1. Take craft pins apart. You will need one pack per coaster. NOTE: Discard the springs.

Step 2:

  1. Push marker into the foam board until it can stand upright.
  2. Hot glue two pins together, facing the same way.
  3. Set the pins against the marker. NOTE: The marker will be a guide to make the center circular.
  4. Continue hot gluing pins around the marker until you complete the circle.

Step 3:

  1. Sand coasters to remove any extra hot glue.

Step 4:

  1. Paint coasters. We painted the tops only for a fun, natural look.
