Mix: In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, 1 cup of water, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, and 3 eggs on medium speed with a mixer or beat vigorously by hand for 2 minutes. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.3. Bake: Follow the bake times listed on the box for your chosen pan size. For a 13" x 9" pan, bake for 28-33 minutes. For two 8" rounds or two 9" rounds, bake for 23-28 minutes. For a Bundt® pan, bake for 38-43 minutes, and for cupcakes (24), bake for 14-19 minutes. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool the cake for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan.
