Use a knife to remove some of the flesh in the segments and expose the walls. Try to keep the walls intact, as that will help with creating a more detailed print.
Step 2:
Use a paint brush to apply a thick coat of paint to the fruit.
Press the fruit onto the fabric. Tip: Protect the surface you are working on. The paint may bleed through the fabric.
Lift the fruit to reveal your print.
Touch up any missing spots with a paint brush and paint.
Step 3:
Stamp a few lemons in a row and then add an orange. Make your own pattern! Let dry.
Step 4:
Acrylic paint is permanent once dried. Use an iron on a cotton setting to heat-set your fabric pattern.
