While logged into your account on your mobile phone or desktop computer, select from available offers to add to your account. At checkout, redeem these offers by simply typing in your phone number into the pin pad. We can send you a digital receipt of your purchase - via text message or email.   • What is the DG Digital Coupon program and what are the benefits to me?

    The DG Digital Coupon program delivers digital coupons that help you save money on the items you buy and those you'd like to try. It enables you to receive, view and track your receipts digitally, access personalized offers and deals, and create lists.

    Best of all, no clipping required! Once set up, you simply need to type your registered phone number in at checkout to get your selected savings applied instantly to your purchase.

    DG Digital Coupons tailors relevant offers to you based on your shopping history. These offers can be added and saved to your profile, eliminating the need to cut or print out coupons and bring them in to the store. Additionally, you can also create a shopping list while comparing available offers to help plan your shopping trips and maximize your savings each time!

  • Will I be charged by my mobile carrier to use DG Digital Coupons?

    Standard text messaging rates and data fees may be applied by your cell phone carrier or Internet service provider for accessing the link to the digital receipt, or when accessing your account. Please check your individual plan for more details.

  • Do I have to sign up to receive discounts?

    Yes, you will need to sign up for DG Digital Coupons to receive discounts and/or digital receipts. We still have print-at-home and mobile offers available, but keep in mind that not all offers are available in all formats. To get started, follow this link.

  • What if I no longer want to participate?

    To opt-out of the DG Digital Coupons, follow this this link and submit an unsubscribe request. You will then receive a follow-up email once your request has been fulfilled.

    Please note that unsubscribing from DG Digital Coupons does not unsubscribe you from Dollar General marketing messages, if you are a subscriber. Please follow the directions in messages from each of those channels if you wish to unsubscribe.

  • How do I sign up without a mobile phone?

    After clicking to sign-up, you’ll select the box that says “Mobile” and choose “Landline” from the drop-down menu. Enter your number, click “CALL AND TELL ME THE CODE” and be sure to have a pen ready! You’ll then enter the code provided and continue with the sign-up process.

 
  • How do I sign up?
    Sign-up on your computer or mobile device here or through our mobile app! You can also conveniently sign-up at checkout! We'll send email a link to you afterwards to complete the process.

  • How many accounts can I have?
    One account permitted per person.

  • Can I sign up in the store?
    If you're interested in signing up at check out, the cashier will ask you to enter your phone number into the keypad. From there, we will send you a link via SMS text message to finish the sign up process online.

    *Please note that your phone number isn't the last step in creating an account. Your account will only be valid once you've completed the online sign-up process.

  • What personal information will be needed/used? Will it be shared?
    You will need to provide your email address and a phone number to participate.

    We do not share this information with anyone outside of key technology providers who have a direct relationship with Dollar General. For more information please refer to the program's terms of use and our privacy policy.

  • Will I be able to opt-in to the types of messages I want to receive?
    Yes, we respect your privacy and only send messages that you opt into. To see or change your opt-in preferences for digital receipts visit the settings link in the main menu.

  • Will I be able to track my savings?
    Yes, when you enter your phone number at checkout your savings will be tracked through the savings dashboard. This provides an overview of your total savings over time. The savings dashboard can be accessed via web or mobile after you have logged in to your account.

  • Will my account be linked with other members of my household?
    No, each user phone number is unique and will not be linked with other members of your household.

  • What if I add an offer and it's not taken off my total bill?
    There are a few reasons why this might happen:

    1. You haven't clipped the coupon to your digital coupon account.
    2. The coupon wasn't used on the correct item.
    3. The coupon was expired.
    4. You used a paper coupon for the same item.


    If none of these factors apply to you, we want to help. Please provide additional information 
    here, and we'll look into this as soon as possible.

  • What is the point of a Shopping List?
    This tool helps you stay organized so that you can make the most out of your shopping trips. Simply create your list, and refer to it in your Dollar General app or mobile device while shopping. You can also print your list and bring it in hand.

  • Can I print my list of clipped coupons?
