    • Increase exercise. Take your dog on long walks so you both can get more exercise. Play hide and seek around the house with your cat. Both you and your pet will enjoy the extra playtime and physical activity.
    • Be positive. Looking for more positivity in your life? The best place to start is with your pet. Take time to snuggle and cuddle with your pet. Give him plenty of attention and praise. This type of bonding will automatically boost your pet's positivity and it may wear off on you!
    • Eat healthier. You probably already know that eating the right types of foods will help you to maintain your weight and health, but the same goes for your pet! Feed your pet high quality food and be sure to feed him the right amount at each meal.
    • Brush up on training. Maybe you would like a promotion or to start a completely new career — either way, more training can get you there. Your pet can also benefit from training. Sign your pooch up for obedience or agility classes, or therapy training. You can even find agility classes for cats.
    • Enjoy life. Resolve to get the most out of each day for both you and your pet. Go to the dog park or arrange for kitty playdates. Spend more time bonding. Just enjoy the unlimited opportunities to spend time together.

Getting healthy with your pet will help to make this year the best one yet for you both!
