Make a trendy decorative lantern using photo frames! This gorgeous, farmhouse-inspired piece is easy to create. Place a candle or a light inside, and it will beautifully illuminate any space in your home!
Glue two 5" x 7" frames together to create an “L” shape. The taped side should be facing in. See photo for placement. Repeat with the other two frames to create another “L.”
Glue the two “L” sides together to create the rectangular lantern base. See diagram for placement.
Glue two of the 6" pieces together at a 90-degree angle, as shown. Once that sets up, glue it to the top of the lantern base to start the peak.
Glue the other two 6" pieces to the top of the lantern base, one on each side of the main peak.
Snip the lock tab off the plastic shower curtain ring. Pull apart the opening of the ring to slide it onto the peak of the lantern, as shown. The ring will pinch shut around the wood and hold itself in place. Note: Do not hang lantern.
