What patients can be seen in the Mobile Clinic?

DocGo On-Demand provides non-emergency medical care to patients 6 months and older.

What services are offered by the Mobile Clinic?

DocGo clinicians provide several services, including:

  • Urgent care & preventive care
  • Treatment of minor injuries & illnesses
  • Annual physicals & clearances 
  • Certain vaccinations (e.g., Flu, COVID-19)
  • Prescriptions
  • Certain tests and bloodwork

Can you test for infections such as COVID-19, influenza, strep throat, or urinary tract infection (UTI)?

Absolutely. DocGo clinicians conduct on-site tests for common illnesses. If needed, they can order lab tests through partner labs.

Do you offer vaccinations?

Yes. DocGo clinicians can provide certain vaccinations, including seasonal influenza and COVID-19.

Will I be able to get referred to more specialized care doctors through the Mobile Clinic?

DocGo On-Demand may recommend that you be seen by a specialist, but they do not refer to specific providers at this time.

Can you provide a verified COVID-19 rapid test for travel, school, or work?

Yes. COVID-19 Rapid Antigen testing for asymptomatic patients is provided for $39 per test. If you have symptoms and visit the Mobile Clinic for an urgent care visit, your DocGo clinician may perform the test at no additional charge above the cost of an urgent care visit.

Can you perform lab tests?

DocGo On-Demand can perform some tests on-site to diagnose conditions in an Urgent Care setting. They can also draw blood and order tests from partner labs. For questions about specific tests or blood work, please contact Patient Support at (844) 443-6246.

Can you perform procedures and provide treatments on the Mobile Clinic?

DocGo clinicians can care for some injuries and wounds on-site and administer certain medications. If necessary, they may also recommend you visit another provider. The Mobile Clinic does not currently provide x-rays or suture (insert new stiches).

Can I get a prescription through the Mobile Clinic?

Yes. When appropriate, DocGo Clinicians will be able to provide a prescription that you can get filled at your preferred pharmacy. For Urgent Care visits, they can also provide some common medications on-site. DocGo does not prescribe or stock narcotics or controlled substances. Can you perform imaging such as ultrasound and x-rays?

Not on-site. If imaging is needed, you will be recommended to another provider. 

 

Operations

Who are the care providers at the Mobile Health Clinic?

DocGo Clinicians are licensed medical professionals. All visits are overseen by a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician’s Assistant (PA) and/or Medical Doctor (MD or DO).

What are the hours of operation?

The Mobile Clinic will be conveniently located at designated Dollar General locations 6 days a week (Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays), from 10AM to 8PM.

Insurance and payment

How much does it cost to be treated?

For patients with insurance, your responsibility is determined by your insurance plan. DocGo On-Demand bills insurance the same as an urgent care center. For patients without insurance, there are self-pay rates available. Please call Patient Support at (844) 443-6246 for more information.

What insurance do you accept?

For questions on coverage and copays, please contact your insurance plan directly. DocGo On-Demand currently accepts Medicaid/TennCare, Medicare, and some plans from the following insurance companies:

  • Aetna
  • Anthem
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Cigna
  • Humana
  • MultiPlan
  • TRICARE
  • United Healthcare
  • Wellcare

What if I don’t have insurance?

If you do not have insurance, DocGo On-Demand’s services are available for a flat fee. Payment will be collected by phone prior to your visit via debit or credit card. DocGo On-Demand does not accept cash. If you do not have a credit or debit card, you can purchase a spendwell™ Reloadable Visa® Debit Card at your local Dollar General.
