Easter Bunny Canvas

A reverse canvas technique is used to craft these adorable framed bunnies. A few simple steps are all that is needed to create this beautiful spring home decor!

What You'll Need:

Crafter’s Closet Stretched Canvas 8" x 10”
Crafter’s Closet Craft Wood Stain Walnut
Crafter’s Closet Black Chalkboard Craft Paint
Crafter’s Closet Deco Podge Matte
Crafter’s Closet Premium Paint Brush
Crafter’s Closet Project Knife
Crafter’s Closet Precision Scissors
Crafter’s Closet Hot Glue Gun

Let's Do This!

Step 1:

Use a project knife to cut the canvases loose from the staples on the wood frames.
Use a hammer to flatten the staples flush with the wood frames. This will be the back of the craft.

Step 2:

Stain the frames. Let dry.
Paint one canvas with black chalkboard paint. Let dry.

Step 3:

Run a line of hot glue around the back of the wood frame.
Lay the wood frame onto the canvas and push down to flatten the hot glue onto the canvas.
Use a project knife to cut around the frame and remove the excess canvas.
You will have one white-framed canvas and one black-framed canvas.
