Do you love the look of decorative metal flowers but not the price? Make your own for a lot less using poster board and paint!

Template
A) Print out the template. You can choose between the large and small flowers.
B) Cut out the template pieces for whichever flower you’d like to make.
A) Trace the template pieces onto the poster board. You will need 12 large petals, 9 medium petals, 7 small petals, 7 extra-small petals, and a center piece.
B) Cut out the petals from the poster board.
A) Lightly brush gold metallic paint onto the edges and down the center of each petal. Let dry.
B) Use a pencil to add a curl to the backside of the petals. This will add dimension to the finished flower.
A) Trace a plate onto a piece of cardboard. We recommend a plate with an approximate diameter of 8".
B) Cut out the circle.
C) Find the center of the circle and mark it with a pencil.
A) Begin adhering the large petals to the cardboard circle using hot glue. The points of each petal should meet at the center mark on the cardboard.
A) Hot glue the medium petals to the flower.
A) Hot glue the small petals to the flower.
A) Hot glue the extra-small petals to the flower.
A) Hot glue the center piece to the flower.
