DG Buy Now Pay Later powered by Sezzle is a payment solution that allows customers to buy now and pay over 6 weeks. To buy items using DG Buy Now Pay Later, you will apply for a Sezzle account and be provided a Sezzle Virtual Card to use for your purchase.

The total amount of your purchase will go onto your Sezzle Virtual Card at checkout. Sezzle will deduct 25% of the purchase amount from the credit or debit card associated with your Sezzle account, and the three remaining 25% payments are automatically charged to you over the following 6 weeks.

You can apply for the program on the DG App, on DGPickup.com or directly through Sezzle. You do not need to have a DG account in order to apply, but you will need a DG account in order to use Sezzle on a DGPickup or DG GO purchase

Yes, you will either need a valid credit or debit card. Please note, American Express is not accepted by Sezzle. Additionally, Capital One credit cards are not allowed to be associated with a Sezzle account.

Your Sezzle Virtual Card details will be shown to you and you will be able to copy and paste the Sezzle Virtual Card number into the Apple Pay or Google Pay applications on your phone, as well as add the card to your payment methods in the DG App or on DGPU.com.

Yes. You’ll need to use your Apple Pay or Google Pay to “Tap to Pay” during checkout.

No. Sezzle is only accepted as payment in some Texas stores.

Yes. You can use the Sezzle Virtual Card to pay for your DG GO! purchases and for DG Pickup orders in both the DG App and on DGPickup.com. Please note that you cannot use DG Buy Now Pay Later powered by Sezzle to make direct-to-home purchases via dollargeneral.com

Customers with a MasterCard-issued Sezzle Virtual Card will not be able to complete purchases at the point of sale in-store, but will be able to make DG Pickup & DG GO transactions with their card.

Yes, but only for in-store purchases.

You cannot use your Sezzle Virtual Card for any purchases that are cash-only in store today. For example, reloading a debit card, purchasing a lottery ticket, or paying for a utility bill.

You may return it per the returns policy listed in the Dollar General® retail store where you purchased your item. Please note, you may need to have your Apple Pay or Google Pay app ready to scan at the pin pad to complete the return.

If paying in-store, the purchase will be declined and you will need to use another form of tender or split the amount to be purchased with a different form of tender. If paying online, you’ll be notified at the time of checkout that your order total exceeds available funds, and you will be unable to complete the purchase transaction.
