Pour pasta into 5-quart saucepan 2/3 full of boiling water. Gently boil uncovered for 11 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix mayonnaise and milk in a large bowl. Add seasoning packet and mix well. Drain pasta. Rinse with cold water; drain well. Stir pasta into the seasoning mixture. Add additional ingredients if desired. Refrigerate and serve cold. For a lighter option, use light mayonnaise.
